The Sayings of Sages and prophets...
...if one has heard and internalised...
...then love for perishing worldly things...
...he will in his bossom cherish not.

He will rather love the glory and beauty...
...of the lord of eternity as manifest...
...in man and the whole creation;
He will be all-absorbed...
...in the manifest divine beauty.

Suc a passionate love for divine...
...will so carry him away from his engagement...
...with the ephermal worldly temptations...
...that he will almost forget himself...
... as a worldly man.

In serving God and his children...
...he will sincerely follow the commandments...
...that God has revealed for the guidance...
...of humankind through his messengers.

In serving people in distress and pain...
...he will be like the brave fireman...
...who cares not for his life while rescuing...
...people from the raging flames of fire.

Such a person always sets his heart...
...on promoting love and peace in the world.

'The company of righteous persons...
...will make you righteous;
The company of evil persons...
...will make you evil';

'A moment spent in the company of...
...an enlightened one is better than...
... a hundred years of sincere worship alone'.
