The Search
Searching, waiting, longing
for that opportunity to come
for a chance to discover the unknown
to live amongst a dream and realise
a truth
better to know than wonder
better to experience and discover
new worlds and new ways
than stay still and never know
in the contradiction of time
a passing stillness
leaving little remaining
for that or those opportunities
to pass by, one day perhaps
