The Seeker Keeps Vigil, Night And Day Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Seeker Keeps Vigil, Night And Day

The seeker keeps vigil, night and day,
Neither lost nor found along the way.
Unbound by time, unnamed by form,
The soul seeks light—yet was never torn.

Through desert hush and forest deep,
Where silence wakes, where questions sleep,
The wanderer walks with steps unknown,
Yet, step by step, becomes the One.

No walls confine, no creed defines
What lies beyond all space and time.
Not here, not there, nor far, nor near—
The unseen Presence whispers here.

The labyrinth fades, the veils grow thin,
No gates without—all doors within.
The self dissolves, yet more it grows,
A wave returning—yet never goes.

No end, no start—just endless flow,
Not coming forth, yet made to know.
The seeker longs until realises whole,
The ocean held within the soul.

And in that stillness, all is clear:
No ‘I', no ‘Thou', no far, no near.
The seeker lost, the seeker free—
No within, no without—just Unity.
