The Shadow Man Poem by DM W

The Shadow Man

I've entered strange worlds;
Both seen and unseen. I have
Sensed the pale ghosts of
The slow burning centuries.
It's in twilight realms
That I'm most at home. I feel
At one with the moon
And stars. The sounds of the night
Are so pleasing to
My ears. I wear many masks.
I'm a dark figure.
The sun is too bright for me.
It crushes my soul.
I'd rather dwell in shadows.
