The Simple Joys Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Simple Joys

The bluest sky ~ my Love and I
Enjoy the day God gave us.
Green hills so high, I wonder why
Material things so please us?
When nature's wonder has it all,
Each season brings delight...
Gentle rain on a summer day
And moonlight glow on a winter night.

The simple joys of life are best
We've proved it from our birth.
O how grateful we should be
For this heaven on earth.
And there is a higher heaven
Beyond this world's domain...
A new land full of roses
Where we shall meet again.
