The Sky Cried Poem by Heather Burns

The Sky Cried

The sky hanging over
the earth
Like a large canopy
drooping,

A veil of lace
tapestries of blue
velvet
Gracefully bending
to protect

From the cares of
life
A shelter in the
storm

Suddenly a hint of
gray appeared
The sky began to cry.
