The Small, Black House Bat Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Small, Black House Bat

I saw it fallen
In the room,
The small black bat,
Hosue bat
With the dotted eyes,
Small-small legs
A creature like the rodent
With the moustache
And small-small white teeth
And the umbrella-winged
Looking and shrieking into
My hands.
