The Smile Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Smile

The smile

No one imagined
How was it defined!
It was real moon
But shadowed by blazing sun

The sun raced against time
But could not claim
Ownership of an object
It was stupid act

The evening was at full blossom
With no room
For anyone to go near
It was unknown fear

The moon smiled
As it was decided
To shine independently
With all the smiles secretly

No separation claimed
Yet union enjoyed
Sun smile from distance
And earth graced at once
