I sit by the pond where in
The water sweet lilies play
Bathed in the morning ray
Their beauty lights up the day
I throw a stone to create
Ripples and the lilies smile
Buoyed up they kiss each
Other and dance for a while
I smile too and ask them
In the pond how is the life
‘We hold onto what we have
And shed beauty amidst strife.'
