The Solitary Home - Poem by Rahman Henry

On the other bank of a lonely river
There is a solitary home
Blue trees surrounded by
An iconic stone in front
deep inside, trembling with its sigh

I can hear her cry

I've to go there, friends,
Forgive me, goodbye!
