The Sound Poem by Paul Warren

The Sound

I stopped the car and looked around
On a hill overlooking our town
The noise started 10 minutes around
With a distant howling sound

The radio says it is an unknown noise
Something that no human could employ
A group is gathering at the point overlooking town
When the noise stops suddenly its sound.
