The Span Of Time

It's the holiday season, once again.
How the time, does fly. It seems like
only yesterday, but calendars do not
lie. The span of time gets shorter, as
we go from year to year. I guess we'd
better get used to it, because it's
already here. The hustle and bustle has
started. Just about everyone's on a
shopping spree. When you arrive at
your destination, it's amazing what you
see. People are there in droves, looking
for bargains the stores have advertised.
You begin to have the strangest feeling,
as if you've been hypnotized. It's crazy,
how every year, we do the same old
thing. But when next year comes, we're
inclined to forget. We get right back, into
the swing!
