The Spider

Both hated and feared
Scared and shocked when appeared,
Though it's an outsider
Please, give forgiveness unto the spider.
Do not resort to kill
Either from fright, or from skill,
Use no harmful weapons
Created by man, or from the heavens.
It's not where it wants to be
It wants to be free
Be compassionate to this 8 legged creature
Let mercy be your teacher.
Catch it in a cup
Then with a napkin pick it up,
Then give it a short ride
And take it to its home, to the outside.
Let the spider in peace walk away
Let it see another beautiful day,
Just think, it wasn't bothering anyone
Release it on your lawn.
If I'm ever in the wrong place
Do not be angry and attack me with mace,
If there's ever a controversy
Please, show me the same mercy.
