The Spring Lady Comments

Rating: 5.0

This poem is composed by me in regional language of India that is Bhojpur. It states about the solitary life of a woman who is residing in her husband's house in a remote village. Her husband has gone to city for earning money. In the Spring season she is getting message from her husband. Then she is expressing her feelings.

You know I belong to eastern UP, this is Bhojpuri and I understand it well. Tears came in my eyes after reading this lovely poem. After a long time I heard the word Mahuawa. Here our descendents can't imagine it. Mujhe ek pahel yad aa gayee: - Teep se tapar se kapar kahe phreo...Thenge se menge se rat kahe doleo. Its one answer is snake and Mahuwa and other one is vulgar.
