The Startled Birds Fly

the startled birds fly
into the sun
oh icarus

and I fulfill your
last request

I am singing in the golden air
the startled birds
fly into the sea
and weeping is renewed
like a contract

but in my most

recent dream of you:

the pristine enterprise
can never fail

and your wings grow stronger-
