The Story Of Hypocrisy Poem by Matloob Bokhari

The Story Of Hypocrisy

THE STORY OF HYPOCRISY
Two-faced feigning believers, wearing many masks
Unaware of their actions; words without love
Mean, weak, wicked, jealous, selfish and stupid
Hands full of blood, tongue full of violence, heart full of hate
When become guardian, rule with bestial greed,
Treat people nasty insects, smash good to pieces
Disrespect the most respected daughter on this planet
Torture children callously in the land of calamities
Slaughter them like animals, leaving unburied in plains
Rip earrings of young girls and lashe them with whips.
In the land of fear, in the land of horror, in the land of cruelty
Frightened children run holding dry water bags
Rolling tongues on parched lips
Despair simmers from their eyes
Stars, angels and Asiah - all weep on such wild atrocities
The greedy of gain waving spears in the air, dance on corpses
The cruelest and fiercest animals leave the area out of fear
Ah! I felt the sorrows of the aftermath of war
Ah! I felt the suffering of millions orphans
Ah! I heard the voice of crying hearts
Ah! I watched the birds falling from the trees
I saw bestial killing on the sound of trumpet
Monsters were shrieking, howling in madness
'Cut their tongue out, burn in the fire alive to all the followers of truth'
I heard the victory yell of the cruel and crazy animals
I listened annoying God from the roaring dark clouds
'Those calling me Lord! Lord! And killing in my name
Are wolves in sheep's clothing, they are snakes in grass
Destroying their own souls
Killing their own hearts
They will be in the lowest depth of Fire
Whilst the serene souls will return to their Lord well pleased'
My friends
Impure mind cannot see the Beauty of Allah
A hypocrite heart cannot see light in the altar stone
