The Storyteller Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Storyteller

Rating: 5.0

I've told you some stories,
that make you believe.
I've taken your worries,
I've given you grief.
I've told you some tall tales,
I heard in my youth,
But most of them pale,
when I tell you the truth.
It's what I do,
what I've always done best.
But I'll always need you,
If my tales are to last.
