The Strange Meditation Of Sitting Silent Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Strange Meditation Of Sitting Silent

The strange meditation of sitting silent,
Madness? No,
But something of the sort it may be;
A cloud of mad feeling...
...hovers over my consciousness;
That the reality of everything...
...in this vast universe am I;
But, disguised as nothing am I!
Connected to everything am I!
Yet disconnected from everything am I!
I see reality as unity in diversity!

Unable to get out of these hallucinations...
...I cast my eyes to the vast manifestation...
...of the single reality.
I see in these endless manifestations...
...unique harmony and equilibrium...
...when sitting in silent meditation...
...on strange unity of everything.
