The Strictest Of God's Justice Poem by Gary James Smith

The Strictest Of God's Justice

The Strictest Of God's Justice

The strictest of God's justice
Was the sacrifice for sin
His own dear Son, His own dear Son
Himself who knew no sin
Virgin born son of Mary
Went to the cross for us willingly
Behold...behold the Lamb of God
Behold the man of Calvary

What love...what love how can it be
He hung there for me that day
When He could have called ten thousand Angel's
To rescue and take Him away
And " It is finished! " our new beginning
His voice our song of victory
For up from the grave He has arisen
Hallelujah...hallelujah...glory be

My sin with all its agitations
One day shall be no more
For I'll be caught up by the Spirit of God
To greet Him on Heavens shore
God was satisfied with that sacrifice
In that He raised Him from the dead
Jesus Christ has become my Resurrection
And it couldn't be better said!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
