The Sun Poem by David Darbyshire

The Sun

Rating: 5.0

The sun is shining in Cairo,
and it's always hot in Mumbai.
Seam's it rain's everywhere I go,
I should watch the weather guy.

The clouds will come back,
the sky will be dark and grey.
Tired of wearing this mack,
hopefully some other day.

I really do like a sunny day
the world seams much better,
I just wish the sun would stay,
life would seam more sweeter.

I liked Diane's comment about buying a sun light....good idea. Otherwise, it's a bit of a wait till summer comes round again. You could always go to Oz, though. Love, Fran the fan xx

Good write Dave..........you just reminded me winter is almost upon us. All rain here, dark and grey.........no snow no sunshine. Time to buy a sun light. All the best, Diane
