The Sun Will Shine Poem by Adams King

The Sun Will Shine

Rating: 2.5

I was told to dream of joy
In times of pains
I was told to damn my lost
and nurse my gains

In ha d times mama will say
Smile my baby
Ahead lies the golden ray
To be sought patiently

When failure beats you down
Think of the days you won
When everything seems down
Think of the days you were up

Never trade your happiness
For cold and salty tears
That makes you hopeless
and burn you to ashes of fears

As long as you're breathing
Believe dry bones shall rise
There's hope for the living
The sun will surely shine
