The Supernatural King Of Kings! Poem by Denis Martindale

While here on Earth, the Saviour cared, compassion was His aim,
His was the journey God prepared, God's glory to proclaim.
Baptised in water, yes, indeed, and by God's Spirit, too,
With miracles now guaranteed, back then and now for you.

Holy and supernatural, no more a common man,
God's guidance now available, according to God's plan.
Yet Jesus prayed for even more than others would believe,
He helped the rich, He helped the poor, so they, too, could receive.

The Saviour knew why He was sent, so we'd get born again,
So Pentecost was His intent, to share God's Spirit then.
The King of Love, the Lord Jesus! No greater love we'll find,
As even now, Christ prays for us, as High Priest for Mankind.

The King who taught us how to pray, gave everything He could,
So that we would get saved someday, and do the things we should.
