Our body - the temple of God,
In the temple let candles burn.
if you love God - then watch it up
give your temple sufficient purge.
So that delicate frankincense
There was and prayer's fire,
So that the quiet of censers's bells
came right into the heart there.
So that another would cling to it
Godly like you - and so,
How it happens in yard of spring
when all the flowers burn.

Very interesting translation of verses too give chance of transformation of thoughts on reading. This poem is entirely pure with heart and mind in expression. Yes, you are true. Body is temple of God and we should sacrifice body, mind and spirit only for service of God only. EXCELLENT POEM! ..10

I would like to translate this poem
The title refers to the human body as a temple and in the last stanza the body is also compared to spring. So we have a three fold-image. Although the soul is not mentioned, it is present in this scene because the body will be offered up as a sacrifice for the salvation of the soul which has a purity equal to spring's. The body will pass away like the fumes of incense in the first stanza do. What is left is the transformation of flesh into spirit.
