The Terrorist Threat Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Terrorist Threat

Rating: 3.0

Authors: Joyce Hemsley
and John William McGrath.

It's never too late to set the world straight,
We must understand, and let Faith unfurl.
Blue sea and sand, and a life after death
Are too good for those who poison our world.

Cruel winds of warfare will always be there
when the power of greed rears it's head.
Demons and spirits may hide in the shadows
But instigators of battle are now seeing red.

Dear Angel of Mercy and Goddess of Peace,
Terrorists are criminals, as history books tell;
Eliminate the threat, as kind as you are,
We need a safe future, free from their spell.

Our days could be happy; it's never too late
To wear pretty diamonds and mother of pearl,
To stop morbid thoughts of illness and death,
Coping for the moment in a challenging world.

Breezes of peace, let them blow in the night;
Forget the sad teardrops we shed in past life.
Step from the darkness and terrorist threat,
May no crazy faction cause havoc and strife.

Oh please grant your mercy Archangel of Peace
'Twin Towers' - forgive, with kindness forthwith.
Terrorists are wicked, we know this too well,
In need of heaven's help, as long as they live.
