The Thorny Crown Poem by J.S. Black

The Thorny Crown

Rating: 5.0

You're clinging to the future,
Though the past has let you down.
So many wounds to suture,
Still, you wear your thorny crown.
With pride that won't surrender
And a faith beyond compare,
You toil without splendor
Knowing love is waiting there.

Beautiful poem. Of hope and positivity. Endearing rhyme scheme and rhythmic structuring. Top score is nothing
