The Trade-Off Poem by michael Smajda

The Trade-Off

I did not choose my God.
It is God who chose me.
For this, do I not owe my God
Some semblance of loyalty?

Though I've been given free will,
I'm ask to avoid each devil's whim,
Live only to propagate His Word,
Until I'm called back to Him.
