The Train

Rating: 5.0

The Train

Train moves ahead, running behind sprinting trees
Sitting beside window, I was enjoying the passing breeze
Train was running as fast as it could
From the scraps of memory, some things, I began to brood
My thoughts were running faster than the train
Suddenly a strange thought gathered in my brain
A forgotten face revives in my mind
And I began to brood how a girl could become so unkind
I tried to escape from that very thought
But the memory is so attached that I couldn't
Suddenly a hawker came with some food
And I got relief from that very pensive mood
Suddenly train halted in an unknown station
I got down and lost myself in the commotion.

Fantastic expression. Each and every line is touching and amusing. I like most lines are... Train was running as fast as it could From the scraps of memory, some things, I began to brood My thoughts were running faster than the train Su@ddenly a strange thought gathered in my brain
