The Translucence Of Charcoal (Grey Cars From Melrose, Ma.) Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

The Translucence Of Charcoal (Grey Cars From Melrose, Ma.)

Rating: 5.0

Today you stopped, looked, and fell
Into your own self-made hell
All brazen, you dared to ring our bell
Knowing that camera's always have a story to tell;
Perched in your car seat surveying...
Perhaps all the while praying-
This is the message that we are conveying:
You cased our chrome window and door...
Looking for more and more-
Not really knowing what might be in store;
You were put up to this task!
Even though you were not wearing any mask
Soon, in the limelight, you shall bask!
Your face and your car
Now a movie, oh shining invasion star! ! !
With us, you shan't get far;
Police know who the ringleader is...
He's up to his neck in illegal biz
And believe us, he is no wiz!
All of his plans are doomed to fizz;
Our back yard isn't any better
Even though you're a brazen go-getter!
We'll get pictures of you down to the letter;
Our bay window has an even bigger surprise...
Past the weeping willow there are even more eyes! ! !
And they tell us no lies;
This is what we have been forced to do
Yes, we will bring charges against all of you! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
We will do more than just pursue;
We leave you this message just so that you know...
We are your enemy, you are our foe!
You might want to convey this to your ringleader- - -! ;

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This event actually happened today and the police ARE taking this seriously. It is believed that we are probably the targets of a planned crime...having been victims before, this time we come prepared. This is such an ugly, ugly world sometimes... rife with violence, drugs, and pornography...it really makes us sick to our stomachs and we have HAD ENOUGH! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
