The Tree We Adorn Poem by Isadora Quagmire

The Tree We Adorn

The tree stands tall, with branches wide and free,
We deck its limbs with care, with light and cheer,
A symbol of the joy that we can see,
In Christ's birth, so full of hope and near.

The star upon the top shines bright and clear,
A sign of Heaven's gift, His love displayed,
Each ornament a memory we hold dear,
In Christ's own name, our hearts are softly swayed.

The room is warm with laughter, hearts unite,
As families gather close, the world is still.
And in our hearts, the season's peace alights,
In humble praise for God's great loving will.

So let us decorate with hearts that sing,
For Christmas holds the joy that Christ did bring.
