all you desire wish to be
reality evaporates pipe dreams
behind smoke mirrors

reality time defines
what can be achieved
what will be achieved

make peace with reality
real peace genuine happiness
must be found

within our own mind
within our own heart
within our own soul

material satisfaction
is purchase source fleeting
may not be sustainable

a need to realize appreciate
our own esteem worth efforts
to honour our own efforts

in small achievements
in noble genuine efforts
honours ability limitations

to give our best efforts
is good enough achieves
enough not all are destined

to be rocket scientists
those who cultivate the earth
grow good honest lives

are unsung heroes
ordinary honest citizens
who gift consistent honest efforts
