The Tug Of Her Tug Poem by Bryan Taplits

The Tug Of Her Tug

Her eyes twinkling with mischief
Like a star bursting, with nary a care,
She trod in those halls, not ever aware,
Of adamant admiring hugs, each which hung in the air.
She strode in those halls. like a queen,
Red carpeted they all should have been,
Leaving hearts in her wake, and all hopes now awake,
Regally sauntering- as was her due-past every passed scene.
A corner turned and then she was gone
But forever she will live in my heart,
She ever my liege: A pealing, my song
As impatiently I await for the next orbit to start.
But for now, this memory is all that I have
She a poem who strutted, ever a sign,
But for now I must wait lone, apart, until I feel her next dart-
Yes,
I wait for her future steps. Always, next time.
