The Undying Love Poem by Baffa Hussaini Gantsa

The Undying Love

Rating: 4.3

THE UNDYING LOVE
I wandered in deserts and vales
To pillow your head with my chest
Even when the sun scorched my skull
And lured the moon and stars
To hide their rays from my tenebrous path.

I painted world with colours of love
And whispered to ears of racing wind
The sacred tale of a dying heart
Ready to live 6 feet deep to eternity
Gazing at our entwined souls

O death! Why do you think you are the end
When in my heart are million Havens
Bulit from the sand of yearnings?
I have swung on the chain of time
With threaded heart and patched soul.

O death! Tell the owners of mother Earth
To empty their growling tummies
And tell them to arrange a feast
For this flesh has long rotten
And only dream to reunite with her.
