outside the United Nations
building at the back
there is a wonderful
sculpture a man beating
a sword into a ploughshare
it is a myth of course
the United Nations never beats
swords into ploughshares
it is a myth of course
the United Nations
were never united nations
it is a myth of course
the United Nations never establishes
long sought dream world peace
a few powerful dominant countries
have their magic veto vote pass
these countries can veto attempts
to stop any wars
to stop any foreign global wars
to stop any festering wars raging
countries have vested interests
countries have spheres of influence
countries have territorial claims
