The Unsettled Mind Poem by Raj Dronamraju

The Unsettled Mind

Pudding, you have frustrated me for the last time
And
Pudding, I have committed acts of extraordinary violence four times in my life
And
Pudding, check and recheck the presentability of me
And
Pudding, there is a logic and the mind which refuses to accept it
And
Pudding, I wish I could impress upon you the importance of communication

She overpowers me in the backyard of reason
Fierce, relentless, strong, won't take yes for an answer
No stopping her until all hope is scoured from the scene

My arm is twisted up into the small of my back
I'm going to shout uncle any second now

I accept the decision
She said "Gonads make me cry"
Threatening and distant turn her on
Threatening and distant I am not
