The Very First Morn Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Very First Morn

Rating: 5.0

M-eet the very first morn,
E-very brand new year's day;
R-each the final evening
O-f December before fireworks display.

J-ust wait for the very first morn,
U-nderneath the twinkling stars;
M-onday first of January
A-ims to heal emotional scars.
W-ith nine more sleeps to go,
A-fter the day you were born;
N-ever miss December twenty-second, as well as the very first morn.
