The Vision Shall Speak Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Vision Shall Speak

Rating: 5.0

Ten years to have a step
Not a leap, just a step
As I stagnate on first point
All efforts unyielding it seemed

Was I a cripple from birth?
A Product of nature's ingenuity
Or a nemesis of personal ignorant past
Or the formulation of the sons of darkness

The greater pain is
The source I cannot tell
The happy one now is
At last there is a step
When my limbs received
The assumed academic strength
Though a leap now I expect

Perseverance thus triumphed
Over tempting tarrying
Devilish hopelessness
And the hands of men
To hear the vision speak
At last true and right
Through Him the master programmer
Though late to blind mortals.
