The Wailing Widows (For The Poet. Edward Koifi) Poem by Jacson Gelato

The Wailing Widows (For The Poet. Edward Koifi)

Suppression, depression, oppression
are the favorite expressions of their hurt
and their painful past which they have memorized
and they nurse an inner revenge within themselves
hoping to find the stage where they can yell and tell
the world of their episodes of racism, discrimination
lack of peace, servitude, attitude and righteousness.

Like sorrow they keep crying about it repeatedly
trying to give vent to their anger and helplessness.
It does not give them any relief as it subsists
inside them like a lava in a volcano that keeps erupting.

And as they keep yelling at their inner defeat
their rage makes them feel empowered to express
but they fail to realize they are agonizing others
who have not been a part of their victimization.

But they endorse the innocent readers to re-read
all their inner dissatisfaction and disappointment
thinking as poetry it will deliver to them justice
when all they do is wail like widows on the graves
and make others to accept the melancholy of their mind
as good poetry when it is just a parody of one's ego.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Kofi, this is what you are doing - just wailing and forcing readers to read and accept your melancholy. Just quit and give peace to the world
as world is going through worst time of a pandemic.

kOFI, ALL HEARTS HAVE THEIR OWN BLOOD AND FUNCTIONS. THERE IS NO HATRED IN IT. YOU ARE NOT READY TO ACCEPT YOUR ERRORS. IT IS YOUR MIND THAT MUST CHANGE. STOP THE WAILING OR ASK FORGIVENESS FROM YOUR GOD FOR THAT IS 'SIN OF DECEIVING OTHERS 'YOU ARE FOLLOWING.

Do you have wisdom! ! ! ! Open your eyes and see the light of the truth! Your dirty heart and mind cannot stop me from writing. Joining foolish people to attack me! You don't even know who i am.

Edward, Are you William Shakespeare? or are you a Nelson Mandela? you are a DREAMER. Remain a dreamer and tell your wife your dreams. No heart is dirty. Every heart has the same red blood circulating through it. But writing insensible poems all the time and asking readers to read is certainly questionable as you keep repeating your WAILING. It is absurd. Time you stop crying! !
