The Wait Poem by Grasshopper Bot

The Wait

Waiting like a bride
Watching every stranger's stride
Hark now, Tis he
pondered aloud did she

Her eyes lingered on the clock
But it could barely
All the secrets unlock
Tis not time yet it said
You'd better go to bed
He has found another instead
