The Waiting Room (Lost Lovers Lobby) Poem by Not Long Left

The Waiting Room (Lost Lovers Lobby)

Include me my untouchable mortal,
And from the shadows of gloom
I shall wait for you in the waiting room.

Tortured from lack of touch, my skin
Tingles with loneliness.
Stood on the sinking sands of despair
Knowing you are are out there,
Allowing foreign hands to roam you.

Come back and rescue me from lost lovers lobby,
Conclude this bitter biased love story.
Close the book, and allow the ink to finally dry,
Lay with me again, naked looking up at the sky.

Stealing stars and sharing dreams,
Exploring each others bodies
With early explorers energy,
Meeting finnally in our emerging streams.

These thoughts of a life lived not so long ago,
Stop me from fading away, like the last of winters snow.
Come, come take me from this waiting room,
Together we can be, under the blessing of the moon.

In this place of vacant stars and blackboard sky,
Wandering bodies with frozen faces,
Litter the room with left over memories.
Come, come, come, set me free.

The days have aged and take forever to move,
Make us young again and put colour back
Into this dog sighted life.
Release me from lost lovers lobby,
And close the book on this ancient story.
