The Way

🔴 The Way

Came a long way
From the first steps of losing my way
Young, reckless and going wild as a castaway
Passing through death's space
Carelessly cutting corners
Navigation's through depressions
Narrow pathways
So long it feels like forever!

Came a long way!
From trying to find my way
My mind in a maze
Before I prey, I pray!
Doing whatever it takes
To survive this hunt
Back and forth on the slippery bars
Of addictions
Drifting through my days in a daze
As my emotions swung! !

Came a long way!
And I am still on my way
As a lad I was led astray
By my succumbed vices mixed
condescending advice's
Both I never really sought
I might've gone off course and thought
Lost,
But never was a lost cause
Broke down and had to slow down
Mom said I was always in a rush
The destination matters less
When the journey is the crux.
