Uncertainties

Life's like being on the run it's hard
To trust anyone, not even myself
It's like everybody wears a mask,
Looking for ways to hide their mess.
Maybe we need to believe in something
Cus we feel, we are not always in control
Maybe I over think things but don't put
My heart into them, or maybe it's my soul
Uncertainty: The worst stage to be
Maybe I should stop focusing on you and me
Maybe I need to take 'you' out of the picture
And start focusing more on me
Because a perfect picture wouldn't have been
'You & Me' it would've been 'We'.
Maybe it's in our nature as humans to
always run from those who love us the most
Maybe it's easier to start over with strangers
Than to open up to those who are close.
