The Way Of Suffering Poem by Walterrean Salley

The Way Of Suffering

Some folks must walk a long, long, road
It's called the way of suffering.
The tears, heartaches, pain and trials.
You never know what's ‘round the bend.

When light'ning flashes thro' dark skies.
Sometimes we call, but He's not there.
And oh the fear that grips the heart
Still we must know our God does care.

Why would our Lord ask thus of us.
I do not know, I can not tell.
I can but only love and trust.
That it is well. Yes, all is well.
