The White Lion Poem by Uche Nwanze

The White Lion

The Lion has left his lair after having a hair breadth escape from the red Eagle

He is in a fair in hibernation island
Now he cries foul that t'is not fair
The pair of the Lion and the cub in the pride will clutch at any straw
The trail seems to have gone cold
