you go blank
and face your life
and you have nothing
to say actually

on the wall but
there is no end
which is tragic
on this
blankness of
honesty

for life is there
at your succor
with a life of
its own

and there it meets
you as though
you are its long
lost brother.

for in truth
even if you surrender
life is there
who shall be your
only defender.

stare at this
blankness
and find a village
on such a dark
night
which starts to flicker
like a firefly
and when each window
is lit
the whole village
glitters....
