The Wild Wind Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Wild Wind

Rating: 5.0

Where from the wind comes
Blowing away all my thoughts
My thoughts for you to meet
In the gloaming of the spring
My thoughts about us lying down
On the bed of fallen leaves of autumn
And dreaming for blessed life
My thoughts about you
Coming out with smile dropping
Thick from the curved lips
Where from this wind comes
That blows away all my thoughts
Thoughts about our new abode
We make in sands at the wee
Hours of the morning with
The spring singing a melodious tune
Thoughts about dropping a poem
On the wave your long and dark hair
Creates as you run to fall in to my arm
Thoughts about the dark nights
When we keep waiting for the moon
To appear from behind the clouds
As we fall asleep in holding each other
Where from this wild wind comes
