The Wolf Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Wolf

The wolf

Am reading two books on
The Europe's arrival
To today's Canada…

Both are on the "Big Bear, "
Am looking for answer
To very old question:
About a Massacre
(As is called)
"Frog Lake's! "

The reports in papers
Call killers "Savages! "

Was it in the blood?
Or was it the culture?

The more I read and search
The more I can see them
(Both White and Indigenous;
And depths of relations
As well as behaviour…)

This takes me to books of
Aziz Nesin; Turk writer.

A man has baby goat;
Which grows and grows
(I guess was a he goat.)

"I want milk, " says owner
Each, every single day;
Every time that they faced.

"But I am young and male, "
Tells the goat with respect.

The man turns push to shove
Therefore, goat, goes to hide
In a large distanced cave
Unknown to the master…

In darkness, baby goat
Keeps changing constantly
Till becomes carnivorous…

The man kept his manner
Since could not stop, end…

Ears and its teeth sharp
Goat, turned wolf and howled
When arrived enemy…

Attacked him the wolf-goat;
Biting head and shoulders
In blood mean owner…

It is same with Big Bear
And his team, followers
And later with El Che
As well as Bin Laden!

Unknown and unmentioned
Are many; will be there.

Pressure makes rebels;
Regardless of the name
And the time and place
Or what may take place!

Such wolves called "terrorists"
Are made by egoists.

I see as Nesin saw:
"The cause is Oppressor."

Oppressed, like spring
Can jumps far and further
When pushing is added…

Wish rulers had ear
In White House or Senate;
Pentagon, the justice, CIA
Around world…anywhere…
