The Wolf In Sheep's Clothing Poem by chandra thiagarajan

The Wolf In Sheep's Clothing

Rating: 5.0

The man is in exalted position
and of renowned reputation
with proud distinction
and held in good gradation.

He is a big celebrity
and is of high probity
he is totally admired
and with esteem lauded.

He is amply respected
and kindly venerated
he is immensely revered
and is much honoured.

Until dawned a fresh day
when to people's dismay
he translates to be a prophet false
and from people's reckoning falls.

All that was good and great
fell flat and mirrored him third-rate
with his vile clouded nature
he plummets down from his stature.

As beneath his shrouded mind
ran a malicious intent behind
soon the wolf was bared and loathing
Indeed he was in sheep's clothing!

Beautiful write! Excellent! ! How long can some one conceal his true nature? ? How long can someone hide a dark secret..... one day the cat will be out of the bag! !

An allegory indeed.Fables are the best moral stories which can open the human virtues and vices.
