The World And People Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The World And People

Who can be blamed?
If I am not shamed
For the acts not desirable
It shall then stand as condemnable

If I am debauch
And has developed habit as such
I should not cry for the consequences
And shed tears over missed chances

So I shall curse
With remorse
About my behavior
That was almost clouded with dishonor

No one shall rescue
And view
My downfall as an outcome
Of the past that has gone

So I am the architect of everything
That is making me
To feel about world and people
With their just and honorable struggle
