The World Is Full Of Vampires Poem by Paula Glynn

The World Is Full Of Vampires

The world is full of vampires,
They seem to follow me everywhere,
And like to give people a scare,
Because I guess the world is also full of fools,
Geeks, freaks and the wild childs,
Who follow the call of the wild,
And raise a demonic-like child,
To grow into an awesome killing machine,
That just doesn't give up and fights to the end,
But I always thought friends should stay friends,
Not stab each other in the back,
Sharp fangs bared, to attack and attack,
To watch another suffer and bleed,
Like a satanic creed,
That would rule to the end,
And loyalty only pretend,
For he will betray you, like he betrayed me,
And watched me bleed as I hurt,
And I wonder where the fight has gone,
But I've got to be strong,
Because the world is full of vampires,
And how they yearn to feed their desires on my blood,
Like a demonic, satanic and twisted kind of love,
To fill their hearts like a river about to flood.
