The World Pities You Poem by Ojoo Isaac

The World Pities You

THE WORLD PITIES YOU
When you have entered the garden of your teen age,
many will come the ego and stiff pride.
That is life‟s slippery page.
Beware of the actions you ride. There will come unloved love, knocking at your heart with smiles. Then your static love will move, with mighty joy across all miles, breaking all fences of caution.
Oh! The world pities you, young hearts,
for the mighty root of love plants itself in you thus this unethical addiction.
You hearts have worn love‟s thorny hats. You shall of tearful love, bleed
but not with cupid can you plead.
